CHO GROUP : THE ECONOMIC OPERATOR APPROVED BY CUSTOMS

The CHO group has just obtained today, on Wednesday August 7, 2019, the status of approved economic operator “(AEO), granted by the General Directorate of Customs.

“This status allows CHO Group to reduce the time taken for physical controls of goods and, consequently, those for parking at ports, as well as to strengthen the competitiveness of companies, to encourage exports and to reduce direct and indirect costs. ”, He clarified.

Abdelaziz Makhloufi, CEO of the CHO Group Company considered that “this kind of partnership could only have the desired return if trust is established between the economic operator and the customs and if the procedures are facilitated”, considering that “ work remains to be done in terms of facilitation and dematerialization of procedures and reduction of transaction settlement times ”.

This agreement was signed within the framework of a ceremony organized at the Laico Tunis hotel under the high patronage of Mohamed Ridha Chalghoum, Minister of Finance and in the presence of Omar Behi, Minister of Commerce and Slim Feriani Minister of Industry and SMEs.
